Best value ‘starter’ CBD products

The general recommendation for people new to taking CBD is to ‘start low and go slow’. In other words, start with a low dosage and build up slowly so your Endocannabinoid System has the chance to adjust to the intake of external cannabinoids.

This has led to a large number of low CBD content ‘starter’ products being introduced to cater for the growing number of new customers keen to try the CBD supplements for themselves. New CBD oil products now start from below £6.00 a bottle and this means that finally CBD is accessible to virtually everybody who wishes to find out what all the fuss is about. But how does a new customer know whether they’re getting best value for money?

At The Herb Kingdom we set out to provide the best value we could for our high grade ‘golden’ oil. We have always maintained that buying CBD products is all about how many milligrams of CBD you get for your money, so the CBD content is a vital part of how to assess whether the product is good value or not. However, as most CBD products are purchased online, it’s really important to also calculate the total cost of the product delivered to your door. With this in mind we’ve spent many hours checking product prices and delivery charges in order to compile the comparison chart below. The results will be surprising to many but we hope they demonstrate that when we say we offer genuine value for money, we mean it.

We understand of course that not all products are the same – that they may have different cannabinoid and terpene profiles etc – but the chart does show the CBD content stated by the supplier and we have tried to account for any discounts offered to reflect the true prices. We’re happy for people to point out if we have any of the information wrong and will update accordingly.

The top and bottom is that in order to get the best value for money it may well be worth buying a product with a higher CBD content and take fewer drops!!

And there was me thinking you were going to specialise in crohns and top quality and you’ve ended up selling cheap shoddy oils, so much for your high ethical dream

On the contrary Tim. There has been no compromise on quality at all, just a determination to provide top quality oil at a fair price as we set out to do. This is the oil which Alex uses for his Crohn’s, so do you honestly believe I would want anything but the best for my son? Dammit, he was 4 hours away from dying in the Spring of 2016!! We set the business up because we didn’t think it was fair that people in his situation had to fork out almost £70 a week for high quality oil. Kinda resent the tone of your comment (cos it’s rather hurtful) but I guess it’s hard for people to understand that some people do have a high moral code and run their businesses for the right reasons.

I have severe pain because of M.E. And also very poor sleep. I’m taking Gaberpentin and Cymbalta for nerve pain with a certain degree of success but the mentioned capsules don’t help with feeling that I’ve been mugged and feel bruised all over. I also get any sleep. Do you think your hemp oil will help.

Hi Linda. We’re not able to make medical claims but if you do some research you’ll find that many people are using cbd oil to help with the symptoms you describe.

Hi, I am looking for something for insomnia and anxiety/panic attacks. The docs are taking me off the sleeping tabs I’ve been on for years.

Are the capsules as good as the drops? and would they help with the above please?

I use the cbd gel capsules and they do work but I also take the cbd oil one/two hours before to relax me.
